Vernon “Bruce” Dysinger, born May 1, 1957 to the late Vernon C. Dysinger and Iona M. Holtsberry died May 21, 2012 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN, surrounded by family.
In February 1976 he married Cheryl Nickols but later divorced. They had two children, a son, Greg (Carrie) Dysinger and a daughter, Cassie Dysinger. Bruce enjoyed being outdoors, tinkering with multiple projects, gardening, and fossil hunting with his sisters and family. He also loved spending all the time he could with his grandchildren, Alyssa Dysinger and Timothy Dysinger. He was formerly employed at Dietrich Industries in Hicksville, Ohio.
He is survived by his children, grandchildren, 3 sisters: Rita Robinson, Paulding, Brenda (Ba) Vo, of Texas, and Karen (Curt) Felver of Zanesville, OH; 3 brothers, Jim (Chris) Dysinger of Paulding, Terry Dysinger of Paulding, and Jerry Dysinger of Putnam, Connecticut. Also surviving are several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews and nieces that he loved dearly.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Friday, May 25 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding. Visitation will be 4-8PM Thursday, May 24 and one hour prior to services on Friday.
