Life Legacy
Richard J. Windsor, died Thursday, July 12, 2012 at his residence.
He was born February 15, 1929 in Peru, Indiana, the son of Merritt B. and Edith (Wiswell) Windsor. On June 26, 1948 he married Florence Mott, who survives. He was a 1947 graduate of Paulding High School, and a member of Paulding United Methodist Church. He worked at the Paulding Post Office, the Paulding County Sheriff’s Department, and retired from Herbert E. Orr Company. He operated a TV repair shop, and later, Windsor Electric in Paulding for 35 years.
Richard is survived by his wife, Florence Windsor, Paulding; children: Kim Windsor, Edgerton, OH, Tony Windsor, Jeanne Windsor and Suzanne (Jim) Guelde, all of Paulding, and Audra (Kevin) Bednarski of Rocky River, Ohio; and ten grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his siblings: Lula Janda, Merritt E. Windsor, Mildred Parent, Charles Windsor, George Windsor, and Helen Wiswell; and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Tuesday, July 17 at Paulding United Methodist Church, Paulding, with Rev. Ben Lowell officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Paulding.
Visitation will be 4 – 8PM Monday, July 16 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding and one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the church.
Donations may be made to the Paulding United Methodist church Roofing Fund.
